A new order status, On System Hold has been added.

The status identifies when an order is in a partial state and still requires automated processing of some kind.

For example:

  • An order that has been received by OMS before one or more of its print jobs (that have been created by a distributed app) have been received.

  • An order that has been created via the upcoming Getting Personal API where OMS has not yet received all lines.

No manual changes to an order with the new status are allowed and neither is it possible to manually change an order to the new status.

Previously, the On Hold status would have been used however this allows users to force an order to proceed through the system before the required processing has taken place.
